• Do you have to squeeze the barrel of the pen to get the ink out? Art-n-Fly
  • No, squeezing is not necessary. The ink in our markers flows smoothly just like a regular marker
  • How do these differ from regular markers? Art-n-Fly
  • Regular markers have a firm tip while these markers have a soft nylon brush tip. This tip is flexible and bends if you press it to the paper, so to color with our soft brush markers you would typically use strokes or dabs, like sketching or painting motions
  • Do these markers blend? Art-n-Fly
  • Yes you can use the watercolor ink in these markers to blend color and you can also use these markers to easily create shading effects by simply controlling how hard or soft you press the brush tip onto the paper or canvas
  • I get headaches easily and am sensitive to odors. Do these markers have an odor? Art-n-Fly
  • No these markers do not have an odor. Some markers such as Sharpies do exude an odor that many people have said gives them headaches but our markers use a different water based ink that is oderless and will not give you headaches
  • Are these brushes fairly flexible? I only ask bc ive bought some elsewhere that were very stiff and not very "brushy." Art-n-Fly
  • These brush tips are very flexible. They are made out of nylon as opposed to felt, plastic or fabric so they are very soft and they can bend to a 90 degree angle
  • How should these be stored? Vertical or horizontal? Art-n-Fly
  • You can store these markers however you want. Either horizontal or vertical, it has no effect on the smooth ink flow.
  • Are you able to use these in small detailed areas or are they best used for coloring large spaces? Art-n-Fly
  • You can use these markers for both larger and smaller spaces although some of their cooler abilities shine in the larger spaces where you can use the brush strokes to create color shading effects and color blending. The tip of the brush is fine so you can use it to color small spaces as well
  • How do these compare to Prismacolor brush markers? Art-n-Fly
  • The prismacolor brush markers are semi soft brush nibs, meaning the tips bend a little but not a lot. Our markers have a totaly soft brush tip, it'll bend completely, just like a paint brush so it allowes you to achieve coloring effects that other markers can't produce such as brush stroke effects and super easy shading effects.
