Journaling Doodles with Art-n-Fly White Gel Pen on Art-N-Fly Black Sketch Pad

Journal doodles are fun to create, and it also gives diversity to your daily, weekly or monthly spreads. Doodling helps me to free my mind and be creative in journaling. Doodles doesn’t have to be perfect or artsy. It’s just a way of expressing yourselves in a special way which also helps you create different layouts. 

Doodling is like a therapy for me. I can doodle for hours. It helps me to think, it helps me to relax and it definitely helps me to listen. You can create doodles only with pencil and paper but it’s much more fun if you do it on a black paper with a white gel pen. I chose to do journaling doodles because it’s much versatile. With a few dots and lines, you can create endless doodles. I’ve made a title box out of dots. I love how you can write the dates or year on a banner.

I also added leaves and flowers to spice up your layouts because why not, right? A cloud doesn’t have to be for weather; you can easily use it for a title as I did to emphasize “dreams”. Instead of leaving the banners or boxes plain, just add little lines or dots which will elevate your creations. 

You don’t have to do dots or lines if you don’t want to. You can simply frame a word like I did by “weekend” and you can frame the word with geometrical shapes. I didn’t want to leave the page plain, so I added some stars and dots to fill in the page. 

Doodles can be used in any way. You can create doodles out of letters, or you can just doodle around your notes or just outline a word and doodle around it so that you know it’s an important topic. 

I love the opacity of the white gel pen and the effect that gives on a black sketch pad.
